HDMA Commends U.S. Senate for Passing the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (H.R.6331)
On July 10, 2008 The Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) issued a press release applauding members of the U.S. Senate for passing essential legislation that will help ensure that thousands of retail pharmacies can continue to serve Medicaid beneficiaries nationwide.
The Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (H.R.6331), passed on July 9, will postpone the use of AMP data until October 1, 2009.
HDMA Supports House Efforts to Combat Illegal Online Sales of Prescription Medicines
On June 25, 2008 The Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) issued a press release commending Representatives Bart Stupak (D-MI), Lamar Smith (R-TX) and Mary Bono Mack (R-CA) for introducing bipartisan legislation (H.R. 6353) to combat illegal online sales of prescription medicines.
